A group will prepare a meal for about 6-10 people and deliver it to Lockport Cares, 188 Genesee St. The meal should be similar to what you would cook for your family, including a main dish, vegetable or salad, fruit or bread, and a dessert. The main meal volunteer should let the other volunteers know what they plan to prepare so you can coordinate. 

Please bring the food in disposable containers or transfer into shelter containers when you deliver.

Our club continues its commitment, now over 30 years, to, twice a year, picking up the trash along Saunders' Settlement Road (Rt.31 West) from the junction with the bypass west to Junction,Rd./Campbell Blvd. Dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear for wet grass and soft soil. I have some gloves and our inventory of hard hats are required to be worn. Most people are using the club-owned "grippers" to save a lot of bending.

If we can get enough volunteers with this sign-up for a Friday morning, October 18th, we will be able to skip finishing the job on Saturday (10-12 volunteers), October 19th. Saturday, can also be a rain date. Sign up for both dates if you are avaiable and I will notify you if we will do this Saturday. It's helpful to know if you will need to leave early. Come out to Lockport High School for our annual fundraiser to support the LHS boys basketball program. Varsity games will tip off on Friday, December 6th at 5:00pm with Nichols vs. Williamsville East and continue at 6:30pm with Clarence vs. Lockport. Championship and consolation games will be played on Saturday, December 7th beginning at 4:00pm.

Admission to the tournament is $4 general admission and $2 for students.

LET'S GO LIONS!!

Annual Salvation Army Turkey Dinner prepared and served by members of the club.

Shifts for servers will be 11am - 12pm and 12pm - 1pm

Also needed are 10 cooked turkeys, and 10 boxes of stuffing mix.

Turkey drop off will be at 9:30am that morning (Monday, December 9th) at the Salvation Army. Roasting pans are available.

A group will prepare a meal for about 6-10 people and deliver it to Lockport Cares, 188 Genesee St. The meal should be similar to what you would cook for your family, including a main dish, vegetable or salad, fruit or bread, and a dessert. The main meal volunteer should let the other volunteers know what they plan to prepare so you can coordinate. 

Please bring the food in disposable containers or transfer into shelter containers when you deliver.
