JOINT SERVICE CLUB MEETING! Meet at Dale Association, 33 Ontario Street, Lockport. Reserve attendance and meal at: SignUpGenius. Go to "sign up." Account address is paullehman@aol.com (Check "I'm not a robot"). Click on "Lockport Joint Service Clubs." Scroll down to "RSVP now." Do this by January 22nd. We will need to charge you if you reserve and don't make it. Lunch is $15 and is a Panera combo (sandwich, salad, potato chips, baguette and cookie). We'll have some beverages. It is not necessary to buy lunch to attend. Park on the street or in the lot in back of Dale off Lock Street. Enter any door. |

We are reviving the annual joint service club meeting to hear from an area municipal official - this year - Mark Crocker, Supervisor, Town of Lockport. Please sign up by January 25th. Lunch is $15, payable at the door. Park on the street or in the lot off Lock Street. We need an accurate count to order food and will need to charge those who sign up but don't come. It is not necessary to register if you are not buying lunch. Let's hear from service clubs and maybe some fraternal organizations! What are we doing to serve the Lockport community?

Join us at the Cornerstone Ice Arena for a "cool" evening of fun with Rotary! Bring your spouse, kids and grandkids out to enjoy skating and Ice Bumper cars. Admission is $15 per person, and kids 10 and under are free! Includes skate rental and helmets, bumper cars, and an hour of ice time reserved just for Rotary. We'll also have lots of pizza and soft drinks from the Penalty Box Sports Bar and Grill. Note that this Rotary social event will replace our weekly lunch meeting. |

A group will prepare a meal for about 10 people and deliver it to Lockport Cares, 188 Genesee St. The meal should be similar to what you would cook for your family, including a main dish, vegetable or salad, fruit or bread, and a dessert. The lead volunteer should let the other volunteers know hwat they plan to prepare so you can coordinate. The lead should call Lockport Cares between 7-9am or 4-7pm the day before to find out the number of meals needed. (716-280-3444). On the day the meal is being delivered the lead should coordinatet o have the food in one location and then the lead can take it to Lockport Cares between 4:30 and 5PM/ Please bring the food in disposable containers or transfer into shelter containers when you deliver. Thank you. |
