A group will prepare a meal for about 10 people and deliver it to Lockport Cares, 188 Genesee St. The meal should be similar to what you would cook for your family, including a main dish, vegetable or salad, fruit or bread, and a dessert. The lead volunteer should let the other volunteers know hwat they plan to prepare so you can coordinate. The lead should call Lockport Cares between 7-9am or 4-7pm the day before to find out the number of meals needed. (716-280-3444). On the day the meal is being delivered the lead should coordinatet o have the food in one location and then the lead can take it to Lockport Cares between 4:30 and 5PM/ Please bring the food in disposable containers or transfer into shelter containers when you deliver. Thank you. |

We will also be given a personal tour of the station! Join us for the special Rotary Event which meets at 293 Niagara Street, Lockport, NY. You can stay afterwards to watch a recording with the Health Department. Parking is available at LCTV, the garage next door, and on the street.

Bring your family and friends for a 6 mile walk or a 12 mile bike ride along the newly opened section of the Canalway Trail, from the Stevens Street Bridge in Lockport to the Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village in Amherst. Promote fitness while raising awareness of the work of the Niagara River Greenway. No cost to participate but donations to the Rotary Foundation Polio Plus Campaign are welcome! Registration opens at 8:30am. Walk/Ride begins at 9:00am Registrants are asked to indicate under COMMENTS if they plan to bike or walk. COMMENTS box may also be used to indicate any special needs of participants. |
