InterAct Members helped as Rotary provided Salvation Army clients with traditional holiday feast.
On December 9th members of Rotary Club of Lockport and the Lockport High School InterAct Club volunteered to serve a turkey dinner with all the trimmings at the Salvation Army in Lockport. This is the 40th year Rotary has offered to provide this holiday meal. Many Rotarians volunteered to donate turkeys roasted in home ovens, as well as stuffing and homemade cookies for the meal.
InterAct is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 14 to 18. The Lockport High School InterAct Club is comprised of students interested in providing community service and promoting international understanding and goodwill. LHS Guidance Counselor Amy Scapelliti is the club's Advisor.
