Today, the Rotary Club of Lockport honored club Treasurer Ellen Kolb Schratz with a Paul Harris Fellow +2 recognition award. Club President Aaron Carlson delivered the award during our lunch meeting at #CornerStoneIceArena. Aaron treated the club to a reading from an entire issue of #TheRotarian magazine*.
"The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation.
"Rotary established the recognition in 1957 to encourage and show appreciation for substantial contributions to what was then the Foundation’s only program, Rotary Foundation Fellowships for Advanced Study, the precursor to Ambassadorial Scholarships."

*It may not have been the entire issue. But I had to take Booker out when he got restless so I missed the end of the presentation - Paul McAfee.
The guest speaker was club member #ShellyUnocic, Executive Director of Cornerstone Arena.
I missed Shelly's talk unfortunately. Booker - who is large, but still a puppy, has an attention span and the patience of at two-year old child.
