Club members provided a picnic lunch for local children as part of our Centennial 100 Acts of Rotary Kindness initiative.
As another of our club's 100 Acts of Rotary Kindness, we brought a summer picnic to the children and staff participating in the Lockport City Recreation program at Altro Park.  With a generous donation of a new gas grill from Reid Petroleum/Crosby's Stores, several Rotarians enjoyed a sunny afternoon grilling hot dogs for the kids, and spending time together.  Parks program director LaShonda McKenzie and her staff helped out with setting up and serving lunch to the kids.  A great time was had by all!
In addition to the picnic lunch, Rotary club was proud to support the summer parks program with a donation of lawn sprinklers, arts and crafts materials, and board games for the children.  These supplies will help the staff  members at Altro, Dolan and Outwater Parks to share hours of summer fun and creativity with the kids.
